After a while, Lina finished using the toilet, tidied herself, and then opened the bathroom door. Her eyes instantly met with Jason sitting on the sofa, and their eyes collided again, as if with an electric current, making each other’s hearts tremble. At this moment, Jason’s mobile phone suddenly rang, breaking the ambiguous tranquility.
Jason picked up the phone and saw that it was a call from his mother. He had a bad feeling in his heart and quickly answered the call. On the other end of the phone, his mother’s voice was crying: “Jason, your father was in a car accident and his leg was broken. We are rushing to the hospital!” Jason’s face turned pale in an instant, his heart seemed to be tightly grasped by an invisible big hand, and his breathing became rapid. His hands trembled slightly, and the phone almost slipped.
After hanging up the phone, Jason stood up suddenly, his eyes full of anxiety and worry. He walked quickly to Lina, his voice trembling a little: “Lina, my father was in a car accident and his leg was broken. I have to rush over immediately.” When Lina heard the news, the smile on her face disappeared instantly, replaced by full of concern and worry. She walked up, gently held Jason’s hand, and said: “Jason, don’t worry, go quickly, I hope your uncle is okay.”
Jason looked at Lina, his heart full of gratitude and reluctance. He gently held up Lina’s face, kissed her forehead affectionately, and said, “Thank you for the tea, Lina.
